What’s new in the National Classics Cup

Little by little, all the calendars of the different motorcycling specialties of the RFME are being drawn up. The Spanish Cup of Classic Trials has been published for a few weeks on the website of the Spanish Federation and hosts three double races. The first of these will be held in Cabrianes (Barcelona) on 13 April. It will be the event that will open the competition. The next one will be held in Girona , specifically, in the town of All, on May 18. The third and last one will be in Tibi (Alicante) on September 21.

All the tests will be held over two days and will have independent scoring, that is, as if they were held on two different weekends. In this way, more competition is achieved and the costs of travel, accommodation, etc. are reduced for the participants. After several meetings with some organizers, the RFME has considered that these three events are the ideal ones to have a level and beneficial championship, as the Classic Trial riders deserve.

As we announced in December, a historical record form has been prepared that participants will have to fill in in order to be assigned a coefficient. This form will only be processed and stamped when the rider is registered for the race.

As these are two days, in each of them, you can compete with a motorcycle (if the athlete so wishes).

When the RFME receives the form (which should be sent to the address rhtrial@rfme.com) will stamp it and send it back to the rider with its coefficient, which will change depending on the age and originality of the bikes. Depending on this, the score on the test will vary.

In this way , no one is excluded from any classification but the oldest bikes are awarded and it will be each rider who will decide in which level (yellow, green or blue) they want to participate, regardless of the bike they choose.

Both the Historical Record Sheet and the Regulations of the 2013 Championship, the Fuel Regulations and the Hull Regulations are at the following link
